Review by hotel critic
As a discerning traveler who values both luxury and financial prudence, my stay at Piano Monaco in Carini, just minutes away from Palermo airport, was a pleasant surprise. Despite our long journey, the proximity to the airport was a definite plus. The hotel's spacious, air-conditioned rooms provided a much-needed retreat from the scorching Sicilian heat, making for a comfortable stay.Piano Monaco boasts amenities like a large swimming pool and an on-site restaurant, offering convenience and relaxation. The housekeeping was commendable, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The friendly staff, including the lifeguard at the pool, contributed to a pleasant experience. While the hotel provides an airport shuttle, the paid option might be worth considering for guests seeking added convenience. The presence of a mini-bar and free toiletries enhances the stay. For those looking for a retreat close to the airport with a touch of luxury, Piano Monaco offers a good balance between value and comfort. Whether for a brief stopover or a longer stay, this hotel ticks the boxes for a practical yet enjoyable experience.
